Lodes launches a new configurator that offers endless possibilities to create customised lighting composed on pegs. Users of the configurator can choose a suspension lamp from the Lodes or Diesel Living with Lodes collections and combine it with a coat hook to create an ensemble that meets a multitude of decorative and functional lighting requirements. With the product configurator, the Italian company Lodes confirms its vocation for design innovation in the field of high-quality decorative lighting.
The configurator is an online tool. It allows you to choose a lamp and a coat hook to fit a project, and then save or share the resulting design. Lodes launched its first configurator in 2015 to bring its products closer to users. The latest version of this tool allows users to create accurate and immediate product renderings and creative lighting solutions.
The configurator embodies the Lodes concept of ‘standard tailor-made’: products that are universal but tailored to the needs of each customer. This means that starting with standard elements, users of the configurator can design a customised composition according to their creative and technical requirements.
The new Lodes
CROMA
Lodes presents its newest floor lamp, Croma, which is the latest product from the ongoing collaboration with multidisciplinary designer Luca Nichetto. The design reflects the dynamism of the musical note in its slender shaft that dissipates beams of light up the wall and onto the ceiling.
This new product is perfect for a variety of environments, from hotels to residential. Despite its slim frame, the luminous flux is powerful and projects a wide beam of light. With its overall height of 186 cm, the lamp has a tapered base that ensures stability, while its elegant extension fades into a soft rising glow.
IVY
IVY is a minimalist, geometric lighting element made of a ring suspended from a black rubber cable that feeds a custom LED module. Designed with single and double cables, IVY meets the need for flexibility, allowing the luminaire to be free of its ceiling branch.
IVY is the English word for ivy, the plant that has the ability to creep in and cover large areas. The design is also inspired by rings, especially wedding rings, used as pendants on necklaces.
The light is diffused downwards through a long, narrow opening. The die-cast zinc alloy ring is available in three finishes: matt black, extra matt champagne and earth. The suspension can be hung singly or in groups on Lodes’ multiple hooks.
FLAR
The name Flar evokes a flare, an intense flame or a burst of light. An extremely simple yet highly decorative floor and table lamp that wants to stand out. Flar consists of a steel base and a blown glass shade designed to house an LED filament bulb and magnify the light source, which diffuses a very soft light, filtered through the tinted glass, almost like a contemporary candle.
The Flar collection is suitable for a variety of uses, whether placed on a coffee table or next to a sofa. The two sizes offer the possibility to play with variations for a unique composition in a hotel lobby or a shop.
