Lighting of media library of the Carmes in Pertuis by Le Mouton à 5 Pattes
Begun in 2014, work on the Carmes de Pertuis media library will have lasted 2 years during which all the trades have done their utmost to unveil and preserve the architecture of the existing building.
Built from a religious building, this media library combines history and modernity.
We worked on the lighting to propose lighting that respects the architecture of the place while providing the essential conditions for welcoming the public (clarity, legibility!).
We proposed designer lighting to bring a touch of originality and break with the style of the central building.
This new cultural centre, intended for more than 50,000 inhabitants, now covers more than 3,000m². It is the first media library in France to offer a place for digital experimentation, a collaborative workspace and adapted collections (tactile and Braille books).
