VISTOSI, when your light tells a story…

The Vistosi brand

Vistosi, a company with over 500 years of history, is one of the most important trend setters in the Murano glass decorative lighting sector. Vistosi's success is due to its unique blend of blown glass. Resistant, it does not alter with time. Each piece is unique, differentiated by minute details imperceptible on the object. Unique in its sector, for the best Made in Italy, it stands out for its ability to combine tradition and innovation.

HISTORY :

It was in the 17th century that the name Vistosi appeared (derived from the nickname Vistoso given to the Gazzabin family). It was not until the 20th century, after the Second World War, that Gugliemo Vistosi, heir to the Gazzabin family, took over the family business.

It was in the 1950s that Vistosi began to really focus on integrating lighting into its designs, achieving considerable success.
Later on, another important decision was one of the decisive steps in Vistosi’s success: its collaborations with famous designers, which gave rise to real masterpieces of continuous success.

Since then, Vistosi has continued to push the limits of perfection, always offering exceptional glassware, with unparalleled designs and craftsmanship.

WLA_5022

oday Vistosi offers an important catalogue of lamps in which the new collections have been very successful and have become the company’s best sellers.

Over time, it has become a true artisan company giving rise to a model of craftsmanship 2.0. Indeed, it has been able to maintain the know-how of its glassmaking but has been able to bring the contemporary digital into the water jet cutting machines, as well as into the finishing and accessories, for quality control.

The ability to control all creative processes in-house allows the company to design with very high levels of customisation, giving life to unique, tailor-made references.

Custom is in fact the core business of the company, which thanks to the glassworks and its internal design department is able to respond to requests and project requirements with great flexibility, speed and customisation capacity.

Selection of 3 luminaires:

ARMONIA

Armonia is a collection with contemporary connotations that contains precious historical contents of glasswork such as the balloton, the straight and twisted rigadin. All of this is perfected by enveloping crystal, smoke, amber and burnt earth tones.

The satin black nickel rings reveal a precious gold or satin copper interior finish. Available in suspension and wall versions.

Designer: Francesco Lucchese

JUBE

The Jube collection represents a sinuous silhouette with a precious vintage effect.

After the suspension, available in single or double glass, the collection is enriched with three new table versions, a new suspension size, a new wall lamp and a floor lamp.

Designer: Favaretto & Partners

PUPPET RING

The distinctive element of this model from the Puppet Ring collection are the rings with an increasing diameter, which can be brought together in different sequences to form the framework on which to place the precious glass balls of three different sizes, which blend into the structure thanks to an internal preform in the blown glass.

The smoked crystal spheres create a play of movement and light.

Aesthetically light and elegant, Puppet Ring ethereally combines crystal, smoked, amber and shaded white glass with gold and black nickel satin finishes.
