ARTISANAL MANUFACTURING :
Forestier’s relationship with the Philippines, and particularly with Filipino artisans, has lasted for over 15 years. The master craftsmen have combined manufacturing techniques that have been developed and perfected over the years, as new projects come along. Each tool, each step is custom made for each product. Forestier is committed to this craftsmanship, which guarantees a unique piece every time.

GRAVITY
Cascade of transparency… Inspired by traditional Asian arts, from weaving to bamboo constructions, the Ukrainian designer Kateryna Sokolova has imagined this monumental suspension. This geometric construction, made of metal wire, plays with transparency and seems to float in weightlessness. Delicate and light despite its large dimensions, this sculptural structure is a luminous totem, a masterpiece that will dress your interior with panache.
The light is both direct and indirect, directed towards the floor and the ceiling.
GRASS & PARROT
Continuing her collaboration with the French brand Forestier, the German designer Jette Scheib has created two collections, Grass and Parrot, which are increasingly linked to nature and rooted in ancestral know-how.
A skilful blend of tradition and modernity, these woven abaca fibre hangers invite us to travel. Resolutely bohemian, alone or in accumulation, the natural fibre combined with a superb palette of contemporary colours are ready to soothe our interiors. The warmly coloured stripes of these handmade hanging lamps from the Philippines evoke landscapes of cultivated fields. The colours interlock and overlap beautifully. The technicality and precision of these collections require a long and meticulous manufacturing process: up to a whole day for a single shade.
