salon avec un style ethnique chic de toutes les couleurs
Deciphering a very fashionable style: the ethnic chic style

We hear a lot about it, but we don’t really know what it means. The ethnic chic style, as its name suggests, gives a chic and exotic look to your interior.

This style is a sweet combination of travel objects, antique furniture and traditional skills. We are inspired by objects from Asia, Africa, South America or Oceania to compose our own interior decoration. We find, for example, woven baskets, a rattan mirror, a shell, an Asian gong, a folding screen or oriental rugs.

The materials used are natural (raw wood, bamboo or woven wicker, sea rush) and the colours are above all warm colours close to the earth (ochre, terracotta, brown, beige, red or orange) and evoking sunny countries. Beware, however, that green is not considered to be ethnic chic.

This glory of the elsewhere is a true art of living that crowns inventiveness and curiosity in the home.

Lighting fixtures, too, are no exception to the rule, made of wood, wicker, fabric or leather.

Examples: Cork by Markslojd, Pleat Box by Marset, Moby Dick by Karman, Atticus, Garota, Amphora and Fora by Bover.
