Magnetic track, the new trend in architectural lighting.

The magnetic track or "magnetic profile system" has revolutionised power supply track systems. As the name suggests, this system uses magnets to attach the inserts without tools or effort.

The spotlight heads fit together and connect automatically through the magic of magnets. This attachment gives architects great freedom in combining inserts. And thus the possibility to individually adjust the beam angles of each of them.

The inserts positioned on this track, as is the case with XAL's famous Move it range, are equipped with a DALI system, allowing each of the inserts to be controlled individually. Generally, the inserts are installed on a 48v magnetic rail.

The magnetic rail can either be recessed or surface mounted.
