LM5P - Le Mouton à 5 Pattes is proud to have become the official distributor of the poetic brand Davide Groppi.
At the end of the eighties, Davide Groppi started inventing and producing the lighting fixtures of the eponymous brand in a small workshop in the centre of Piacenza.
Over the years, creative and entrepreneurial independence has allowed the development of original and highly emblematic projects, distributed all over the world. Simplicity, lightness, emotion, invention and surprise fundamentally characterise each luminaire and each project. Luminaires are never born as simple lamps but as the need to give form and necessity or meaning. They are inspired by art, ready-made, magic, the desire to create with the hands...or simply the desire to play and frolic with light.
For Davide Groppi, light is a wonderful opportunity to seduce and move. Direct, indirect, diffused light. The form is refined, transformed, sometimes totally faded. It is light in all its essence, with all its emotional possibilities, capable of revealing new points of view, surprising angles and details.

These three words embody Davide Groppi's idea of lighting. A seemingly simple idea, because nothing is more complex than simplicity. During his years of activity, projects and layouts have been developed in collaboration with various design companies.
There are countless projects all over the world: homes, hotels, museums, shops, restaurants. As a fellow worker, art has always been Davide Groppi's accomplice. Some of his luminaires have been inspired by the works of famous artists and his way of "thinking light" has been modelled on the work of these artists. Facing art, being able to illuminate and enhance it is a great responsibility. For the company, it has become more and more frequent and natural.
In 2012, Davide Groppi will open the first space dedicated to the presentation of the results of his vision and his work on light. A place for designers and the curious who wish to live an authentic lighting experience.
Spazio Esperienze is inspired by two different yet complementary forms of minimalism: Scandinavian with original period furniture and Japanese with clean, essential lines.
A journey of synthesis that leads to astonishment, magic and an unforgettable experience.
